  • - Alter quorum at beneficiary meetings

*Quorum for this meeting is 10 MBT Union Members, exclusive of Trustees. “If, within 60 minutes from the time appointed for any meeting of the MBT Union Members a quorum is not present, the meeting will stand adjourned to the time which is 60 minutes from the time appointed for the meeting, and if a quorum is not present at the time which is 60 minutes from the time appointed for the meeting, 7 MBT Union Members present will constitute a quorum and the meeting may commence.”

In other words, we need 10 MBT members signed in for the meeting at 1pm, if we don’t have 10 members we wait until 10 members show up or for 1 hour, whichever happens first. If, after 1 hour we don’t have 10 members, we need 7 for the meeting to go ahead. If we don’t have 7 members the meeting cannot go ahead, the improvements cannot be made, and we must reschedule.
