Product recall on Rock Exotica pulleys that may be used in stunt rigging.
RECALL NOTICE - OMNI 1.1 PULLEYS & VARIANTS MADE FEBRUARY 2020 THROUGH OCTOBER 2022
The recall states that inadequate thread locker or sealant may allow for a set screw to back out, this impacts the button assembly security. If the side plate is not fully locked by the button, the strength will be severely reduced to about 10kN versus 23kN. Also, if the rope fell out at the wrong time serious or fatal injuries could occur.
