All Full Members of UBCP/ACTRA are eligible to nominate UBCP/ACTRA Full Members for the John Juliani Award of Excellence and the Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award.

LORENA GALE WOMAN OF DISTINCTION AWARD

Launched by the UBCP/ACTRA Women’s Committee, the “Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award” recognizes a UBCP/ACTRA Member whose work as a Performer and/or beyond, embodies the type of accomplishments that advance the status of women in our society and encourage the continued growth and diversification of opportunities for women.

Named in honour of UBCP/ACTRA Member Lorena Gale, whose career has been characterized by her enduring commitment to power, dignity, intelligence and truth, this award seeks to encourage the continued growth and diversification of opportunities for women, by celebrating those whose accomplishments exemplify that reality.
